PhD Student Advisor / Doktorandombudsman på THS

Adi Musabasic is the PhD Student Advisor at THS. He is a KTH alumnus with experience of studying and working across many countries. Adi has worked as energy and climate researcher as well as teacher at secondary school and community college. 

All PhD Students at KTH are welcome to contact Adi and receive free support and advice. You can contact Adi if you have any issues regarding your position as a PhD student at KTH, such as funding trouble, poor treatment or questions regarding your rights and obligations as a PhD student. Anything you bring up is strictly confidential.

Adi’s office is located in The Student Union Building, Drottning Kristinas väg 15. He is in his office Tuesday-Friday. If you like to schedule an appointment with Adi or if you have questions, please send an e-mail to drombudet@ths.kth.se. You can also contact Adi by phone, calling 08-790 98 75, but keep in mind he will not be able to pick up if he is in a meeting, email is therefore the preferred way to reach him.

Health Care Services for PhD students at KTH

If you are a student at KTH and experience health issues,  you can seek help from Stockholm Student Health Services.  PhD students with scholarships are also covered within Stockholm student health care. In addition to offer consultations and appointments, the student health care also offers free workshops, more information can be found here.

If you are an employed PhD student and are experiencing health issues that are thought to be related to your work, you can also turn to Occupational health care to get help. All employees have the opportunity to visit the occupational health care, Avonova three times a year without having to notify your supervisor/head of department or someone else at KTH. The visits are according to specialist expertise and must be booked in advance, more information is available here: Occupational health care
